WICKENBURG, AZ - Josh Groban, Michael Bublé and William Joseph have many things in common – they are young, they are not your typical musical artists, and they are shepherded in their careers by illustrious producer David Foster.
Groban and Bublé have become major stars; Joseph is on his way. William Joseph will appear at the Del E. Webb Center for the Performing Arts with his band members, a violinist, cellist and percussionist, on Thursday, November 5 at 7:30PM.
With his second major-label album, “Beyond”, the inventive, impassioned pianist and songwriter reaches “beyond” the boundaries of the contemporary instrumental genre to touch a new generation.
Album highlights of “Beyond” include new-age Latin guitarist Jesse Cook, who will perform at the Webb Center in January of 2010, and violinist Lucia Micarelli who solos on Led Zeppelins “Kashmir.” Foster, who also co-wrote a number of songs with Joseph, plays on that track as well as several others, including Ennio Morricones title song from film favorite “Cinema Paradiso”.
Tickets to the concert may be reserved through the Webb Center Box Office or on-line at www.delewebbcenter.org – Adults $34, children/students under 18 $5.
