We ask you to join us by financially supporting our Camp Imagination project.  With your help we can continue bringing children these great opportunities and expanding our programs to reach more students. You have a unique opportunity, through your “Arizona Tax Credit” donation made by December 31, to help provide the much-needed resources to continue this important project benefiting our local school children.

Your "Arizona Tax Credit" donation won't cost you a thing!

Here's how: Arizona Revised Statue (A.R.S.) 43-1089 currently allows individual taxpayers to receive a tax credit of up to $400.00 (joint return) or $200.00 (filing single/head of household). This is a great way to give to a cause you care about because it’s also a dollar for dollar tax credit for you.
You can choose to give these tax dollars to the State of Arizona General Fund, if you wish. OR … you can ear-mark a portion of the taxes that you are already required to pay and designate those dollars to go to a student activity.

You give us a tax credit donation and then reduce your taxes by that same dollar amount.

The "Arizona Tax Credit" donation requires payment to a funding account set aside at a school for extra curricular activities.  Extra curricular activities are defined as public school sponsored activities requiring a fee or funds to operate the program, such as Camp Imagination, a two week summer arts camp produced by the Wickenburg Unified School District #9 School Board, Del E. Webb Center for the Performing Arts and the Desert Caballeros Western Museum.
For two weeks in early June, Camp Imagination offers an intensive hands-on program of activities that integrates visual and performing arts mediums to stretch the imaginations’ of 120 children grades 1–12.

Your Tax Credit donation will be used to hire knowledgeable arts instructors and to purchase props, sets, costumes and supplies.

Participating in this tax credit program is easy and convenient! Use our Tax Credit Designation Form (PDF). Simply return this form to the Wickenburg Unified School District office with your payment check. You will receive a pre-numbered receipt. 

Keep this for when you file your 2006 Arizona state tax return along with Arizona Form 322 to report your tax credit and to deduct the same amount from the taxes you owe.  You are able to carry the credit forward for up to five years. 

The deadline to send us your donation is December 31, 2006.
