Collaborative Project
Three local non-profit arts organizations have teamed together for the elementary program. The Desert Caballeros Western Museum is providing “Young Rembrandts”, the innovative visual arts program that teaches basic drawing skills. The Museum has received funding for this program from Wickenburg’s Own Have Fun Foundation. Wickenburg Children’s Cultural Organization is providing beginner level “Violin Lessons” that include learning to play as well as tuning the instrument. The WCO is also providing the violins for this class. The Del E. Webb Center for the Performing Arts is adding to the class mix with “Comedy/Improv” and “Clowning Around”. In addition, a class entitled “Acting Out” will give young actors and actresses a chance to work on theatrical scenes.
